Do vets in Central charge for euthanasia of a hamster or rat?
Yes, though for small pets it's usually one of the lower euthanasia fees on a price list. Ask whether sedation, the consultation and aftercare are included or listed separately, and whether communal cremation can be added at the same visit. A written total before the day avoids surprises when you're upset.
Can I bury a hamster or rat at home in Central?
