Can a provider from a neighbouring town collect from Surprise?
Usually yes. El Mirage is about 4 miles away, Peoria is about 8 miles away and Glendale is about 12 miles away, all inside a normal collection radius. Get the mileage written into the quote so there is no surprise on the day.

Is it safe to bury a rat that was put to sleep?
Only if you can bury deeply. Euthanasia drugs stay in the body and can harm wildlife or pets that dig. Since 2003[7], US labels have warned that euthanized animals must be buried deeply or cremated. Go at least three feet down with a heavy slab on top, or choose cremation instead.
My chinchilla died on a hot day in Surprise. Was it the heat?
It may well have been. Chinchillas have extremely dense fur and cope poorly once a room climbs past the mid-70s°F (about 24°C); warning signs include lying stretched out, red ears and fast breathing. A vet can't always confirm heatstroke afterwards. What matters now is protecting any cage mates: move them somewhere air-conditioned, add a chilled granite tile and keep the cage out of sunlight.
