How Florida feels about cremation
With about 72.5%[1] of people in Florida choosing cremation, local families rarely have to explain why they'd like a pet's ashes home. Even for a hamster, a small vial on a shelf is an ordinary, accepted thing here. Just be realistic about how little comes back, and choose a keepsake sized for a pinch.

Does the Taft climate change what I should do first?
Only the timing. In July, with highs near 92°F, cool the body and book collection the same day. Winters here are mild enough that burial or scattering is possible in any month.
Can a provider from a neighbouring town collect from Taft?
