For a rodent, that difference matters more than usual: a private cremation may return only a teaspoon of ash, while communal returns nothing at all but costs far less. Both are dignified.

Will I have to travel to Tampa to arrange things?
Not usually. Providers based in Tampa (roughly 32 miles from Lakeland) collect from here as a matter of routine, and the paperwork is done by email or phone. If you want to be present for a witnessed cremation, that is when the drive matters.
